Truly explosive growth has taken place over the past few years in the demand for telecommunications and computing services in the Health Care sector. These include requests for advanced voice communication services, digital imaging, data communication services, video distribution services, and requirements for access to microwave and satellite communication facilities.
British Columbia’s first truly digital hospital, the Royal Jubilee Hospital Patient Care Centre features end-to-end IP-based network infrastructure, connecting caregivers and patients more reliably and securely than had been possible to date. The facility provides a high availability medical grade network, complete with fully redundant supporting IT infrastructure. Data Centre, TIA 942-compliant design was provided for the communications wiring system that supports high density computer servers and SAN.
The Communications systems feature reliable operation, flexibility, quality of service, convenience, and efficiency of operations.
